Topic area

Remembrance culture, inclusive and digital. Memorial sites of concentration camps and National Socialism in Bavaria – made visible on a shared digital platform.

Initial phase completed, project continues

A central platform for remembrance culture

For the first time in Bavaria, this topic area creates a shared digital platform that brings together the many actors of remembrance work — concentration camp memorials, local remembrance initiatives, museums and educational institutions. Not as isolated solutions, but as an integral part of Bavarian history within the BayernHistoryApp.

Forgetting would be a second guilt.

  • Inclusive and accessible design
  • The history of post-1945 reckoning as a bridge to the present
