Das Hotel Goggl, so wie Sie es jetzt hier sehen, sah es auch schon zu Johnny Cashs Zeiten aus. Es wird urkundlich zum ersten Mal 1676 erwähnt. Das Haus ist aufgrund dessen auch sehr historisch dekoriert und überzeugt mit einem besonderen Charme. Im diesem Hotel fanden in den 1950er Jahren Auftritte und Konzerte zur Unterhaltung der Gäste statt. Dort traf sich Johnny Cash abends mit seinen Freunden, sie tranken Bier und veranstalteten Tanzabende. Nach dem Johnny Cash seine Band, die „Landsberg Barbarians“ gründete, traten sie regelmäßig auf, auch hier im Hotel Goggl.
